Now Offering Virtual Sessions

We may be restricted from seeing each other in person but this doesn't have to mean that your body has to be restricted!

Carrie Doll Kinesiology is now offering virtual online support for you health and wellness.

Now offering telerehab Kinesiology sessions. Virtual sessions have been shown to be equally as effective as in-person sessions in most cases.
After an assessment I will create a customized program of therapeutic, rehabilitative and prehabilitative exercises that can help improve movement, strength, balance and decrease pain.

Book your free Discovery Phone Call to discuss your situation, needs, and goals to make sure we are good match. Any questions you have will be answered  and we will set up your initial assessment.

Happy Elderly Couple.

These telehealth sessions will be conducted using Zoom software on the Embodia platform. Virtual sessions will not be recorded or stored in any way.

Sessions are encrypted/protected as per governing privacy laws and are compliant with PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)

Here is a little background on what this would look like:

First I will book your session and create a profile for you on the ‘Embodia’ platform. You will receive a confirmation and reminder email with the link to the session. You will be able to connect to the Zoom session directly though that link or from your profile on Embodia.

The biggest difference between a virtual telehealth session and an in-person session would be the hands on portion. With a virtual session, I don't have the ability to physically cue any movement.

Other than that, it would be quite similar. First, we will have a little check in. Then together we will work through the plan I have for the session. At the end, I may give you some homework to do between sessions.

What you will need:

  • A computer or device (ie tablet or iPad) with a camera and microphone that connects to the internet.

  • to download the Zoom program/app (a link to this will be provided in the session confirmation email)

  • a space that you can move in
