Effective May 26, 2020 kinesiologists and other regulated health professionals can, when all necessary precautions and protocols are in place to protect patients/clients and themselves, gradually and carefully begin providing all services, including non-essential services.
Your health is my first priority and so with this news, I will gradually start to see clients in-person. All in-person sessions will be reduced in frequency, gradually working back up to originally prescribed frequency. I will use a combination of in-person and virtual sessions; for those clients that have access to virtual sessions.
At this time, only virtual sessions will be offered to new clients. No new in-person clients will be admitted during this time of gradual transition.
To help protect you and myself from any potential spread of COVID-19, the following precautions and procedures will be put in place and followed:
I will monitor my own health. If I feel unwell or show symptoms then I will cancel sessions.
Prior to each session, I will take clients through a screening questionnaire. If it results in a positive screen then the session will be cancelled - without charge - and the client will be asked to call their primary care provider or telehealth Ontario for further clinical assessment.
Before and after each session I will wash or sanitize my hands. Clients will be asked to do the same.
I will wear a non-medical mask during the session. Clients will be asked to do the same. Let me know if you don’t have one.
Only equipment that is owned by the client will be used during sessions to eliminate any sharing of equipment. If my equipment is used, it will be sanitized after the session.
Discovery calls are still open for booking and all Virtual Wellness services are open to all new and existing clients!
